In build · first shop piloting this fall

The job never got lost. The answer did.

A detailing shop runs on questions — RFIs out, answers back, sheets moving, dates that matter. Most shops track that in a spreadsheet, an inbox, and somebody’s memory. This is the system one working detailer built to run his own shop, being packaged so other shops can run it too.

What it is

Software that sits on your own computer and keeps the moving parts of a detailing job in one place: the jobs, the open questions, the RFIs and what came back, the drawing sheets and where each one stands, and the email that goes with all of it. It drafts the outbound message; a person reads it before it sends. Every morning it writes you a short brief of what is actually waiting on you.

The thing it does first, and the reason most shops would want it, is stop losing RFIs and questions — that is the problem shops describe before any other. Jobs, sheets and the outbound email are the rest of the same loop, not separate products.

What it tracks

Jobs
The spine — every job, its phase, and what is open against it.
Questions & RFIs
Numbered, assigned, dated, and chased. What went out, what came back, what is still hanging.
Drawing sheets
Sheet-by-sheet status, so “where is that sheet” has an answer that is not a phone call.
Outbound email
Drafts the message with the job context already in it. Nothing sends without a person approving it.
The daily brief
One short page each morning: what is waiting on you, what is late, what moved.
